Three has now over one million mobile broadband customers
Written by Andreas Segerström 2008-07-28 08:11:52 GMT
Three have not over 1 million mobile broadband customers in “UK, Ireland, Italy, Sweden, Denmark and Austria”.It’s growing fast but people have poor knowledge of what the cost is when they are outside of their own operator’s network and country. If someone has a flat rate plan at home they might think that it’s the same even outside their own country. When downloading a CD “700 MB” could cost you much as 10000 euro. Not something you would like to get on the bill when getting back home after the vacation.
Positive side of having the same operator in different countries is the cost.
Like between Swedish Three and Danish Three operator that use the same price plan as it you wore home. No extra roaming cost it you use the Three network in Sweden <-> Denmark.
Price example if you have a Swedish mobile broadband from Three and visiting the other Three countries.
UK ~1 Euro per MB
Ireland ~1 Euro per MB
Italy ~1 Euro per MB
Austria ~1 Euro per MB
