Huawei 220 (3mobil) and Linux
subject: Huawei 220 (3mobil) and Linux
Hi, Has anybody managed to get Huawei 220 to work under linux? I have OpenSuse 10.3. With this Kernel, I can detect modem all right (/dev/tyyUSB0,1,2) but what next? Do I just install its as dial up connection? If yes, what is the dial up number, username and password. I guess password would be PIN number, but I haven't got any info from 3mobil about dial-up number and username. advice appreciated,
L.
ps. I have dual boot. Everything works fine on Windows but I really would like it to use with Suse.

You can use Vodafones Mobile Connect for Linux software to establish the connection.
Guide (for Ubuntu): http://www.howtoforge.com/vodafone_mobi … iver_linux
Here you can get the software: https://forge.betavine.net/frs/?group_id=12
